Creekwood Residence
A Playful Perennial Garden
Tucked into a quiet dead-end street with established canopy trees, this 1960’s ranch-style home received a landscape update to match the bright energy of the new owners. The thoughtful renovation of the gardens prompted the construction of a new bluestone pathway to lead guests from the driveway to the front porch.
Spring is welcomed by clusters of creeping phlox, daffodils and tulips. Swaths of colorful rudbeckia and lavender greet visitors throughout the summer, with accents of echinacea, sedum and monarda to add additional variety. Late summer is berry season and the blueberries offer a sweet way to end the growing season while watching the flowers fade into a variety of rich fall colors.
